AOC Arbois - Fruitière Vinicole d'Arbois
Cœur de Paille is the worthy heir of the Nectar of Patience, more commonly known as Vin de Paille. It is made from the finest grape clusters and requires attentive care in the course of the 4 years during which it slowly ages and acquires its character. The brilliant, limpid amber colour of this pomace brandy attests to its unique personality. On the nose it exhibits notes of fresh plums, currants, toasted bread and hazelnuts. But it is on the palate that it reveals its secrets: oaky, vanilla aromas showing sloe berries and quince with warm touches of candied fruit on the finish.
