AOC Macvin du Jura
Caveau des Jacobins
The Jura wine grower’s aperitif par excellence, our white Macvin du Jura is a fortified wine made from the juice of Savagnin grapes to which destemmed pomace of the Jura has been added.
It is aged in oak casks for 12 months, thereby acquiring an amber-hued yellow colour that echoes its aromas of candied fruit, vanilla, orange and hazelnuts.
Melon, finely sliced ham and blue-veined cheeses pair well with this typical product that locals enjoy both as an aperitif and as an after-dinner digestif.
Wine serving temperature:
Serve chilled between 9°C and 11°C (48-52°F).
