The Jura wine grower’s aperitif par excellence, our Macvin du Jura rosé wine is a fortified wine made from the juice of Trousseau grapes to which destemmed pomace from the Jura has been added.
It is aged in oak barrels for 12 months, thereby acquiring a bigarreau cherry-red colour that echoes its aromas of cherry and red berries.
Melon, finely sliced ham and blue-veined cheeses pair well with this typical product that locals enjoy both as an aperitif and as an after-dinner digestif.
Wine serving temperature:
Serve chilled between 9°C and 11°C (48-52°F).
