With its powerful aromas of walnut, vanilla and roasted almonds, this fine wine resembles its illustrious relative Vin Jaune. Our Savagnin expresses itself with lightness and subtlety on the complex tonalities of fresh walnuts and spices typical of the Jura terroir.
Tasting this carefully made wine, which stays in barrels for four years to age as a layer of yeast forms on its surface, is to experience the flavours so typical of the Jura. A great match to white meats (veal, pork, rabbit and poultry), fish with cream sauce, comté cheese and fondue, and delicious served alongside Creole and Indian food.
